HAPPY MONDAY!
This week I have really struggled to keep myself motivated, yet it seems like my life has decided to run without me! BUT, we’re back and ready for another Monday to have a great start to the week!
In this week’s episode, I delved into how I feel about the Twilight Saga and my new-found discovery of the Extended Editions and the Bonus Features that Summit released on Amazon Prime! I have many questions, but many are regarding why certain things were cut out of the regular edition. I’m super salty about some of the scenes that were cut out of the regular version of the movie, and if you are a fan, like me, you should watch the extended editions instead. BUT ALSO, the Bonus Features have spiked my interest because they tell us how these movies were made. The directors are very present in these Bonus Features, and they often describe how many of the stunts were created. The cliff dive in the second movie was actually a REAL FREE FALL from a building. I was almost sick for the stunt woman.
I also dig into my hardships of Shakespeare and trying to understand and articulate it in class and in real life. I’ve been using a wonderful tool called “Arden Shakespeare” which basically translates Shakespeare into modern terms and I have never been so thankful for an acting tool in my LIFE. I’ve discovered that I get easily agitated when I can’t comprehend something right away, so the Arden Shakespeare books have helped me tremendously. Thanks to my best friend for introducing me to them.
I also touch on my lack of motivation for the week, so although this episode was a little short, I still care so much for my listeners and thank you for following me along on this journey!
